Since the start of the pandemic, we’ve distributed over 15,000 emergency meals to communities in need.
In collaboration with CommonWealth Kitchen, we continue to provide groceries and prepared meals to organizations supporting impacted residents including Dimock Health Center and Friends of Children in Roxbury as well Codman Square Health Center in Dorchester. Across all of our sites, we serve 1,000- 2,000 meals and prepare over 500 grocery bags a week.
We are now partnering with The Food Project, a local farm, to bring fresh vegetables and prepared meals to residents of Chelsea and East Boston who have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 Outbreak.
Please join our efforts to feed our neighbors as we can’t do it without you.
A $5 donation covers the production costs of one meal. We are raising $75,000 to meet the demand of 2,000 meals per week across four locations throughout the summer. Funds raised will be used to pay a fair and living wage to the workers of our team.
Sponsor a community in need by making a tax-exempt donation. We have created a special donation page specifically for Fresh Food Generation and The Food Project’s collaborative emergency food relief efforts.
